Amman - The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, announced the Amman Declaration for the Arab Summit, which concluded on Wednesday evening. Aboul Gheit said that the Arab leaders and leaders unanimously agreed in the Amman statement to continue work towards the return of effective peace negotiations, the basis of a two - state solution between the Palestinians and Israelis, as Arab leaders stressed adherence to the Arab peace initiative, pointing out that the Declaration called on the world not to move its embassy to Jerusalem. Publishes "Iraq News Network" full text of the announcement:

"We, the leaders of the Arab countries gathered at the 28th session of the Arab League Council at the summit level in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, reaffirm our commitment to the principles, objectives and goals enshrined in the Charter of the Arab League and its subsequent treaties and protocols. Arab solidarity based on the supreme interests of the nation, and sensing the historical responsibility towards our Arab countries, "emphasize the importance of considering the challenges facing the Arab national security, and the need to take the necessary measures to address them in order to preserve and Dah our Arab and territorial integrity.

Reaffirming the centrality of the question of Palestine to the entire Arab nation, the Arab identity of occupied East Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Palestine, and the reaffirmation of the right of the State of Palestine to sovereignty over all of the Palestinian land occupied in 1967, including East Jerusalem, and its airspace and territorial waters; neighboring countries".

The Arab leaders affirm the adherence and commitment of the Arab states to the Arab Peace Initiative as laid out at the Beirut Summit in 2002 and that a just and comprehensive peace is a strategic option and that the precondition for achieving it is to end the Israeli occupation of the entire Palestinian and Arab territories occupied in 1967, Including the right to self-determination, the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine, the release of all prisoners from Israeli jails and the resolution of the Palestinian refugee issue, based on international law, resolutions of international legitimacy and successive Arab summits E, and the Arab peace initiative.

The statement called on the international community to find the appropriate mechanism for the implementation of Security Council resolution 2334 of 2016, which affirmed that Israeli settlements constitute a flagrant violation of international law and an obstacle to peace, and to demand that Israel (the occupying Power) immediately cease all settlement activity inside the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Including Jerusalem, and rejected Israel's candidacy for a non-permanent seat on the Security Council for the year 2019-2020 as an occupying power.

    - Call on the Arab countries to increase the capital of the Al Aqsa and Jerusalem funds by 500 million dollars and support the Palestinian budget for one year beginning on April 1, 2017 in accordance with the mechanisms of the 2002 Beirut Summit.

We condemn the Iranian interference in Arab affairs and the provocative and hostile statements of Iranian officials against the Arab countries. We call upon Tehran to desist from such hostile statements and provocative actions and to stop the media campaigns against Arab countries as blatant interference in the internal affairs of these countries. And reaffirm the condemnation of the attacks against the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Tehran and its consulate general. He stressed the importance of cooperation relations based on the principle of good neighborliness and refrain from exploiting or threatening it. We call on Iran to desist from policies that feed sectarian and sectarian conflicts.

    - To affirm the collective Arab and Islamic responsibility towards Jerusalem and to call upon all Arab and Islamic countries, Arab funds and civil society organizations to provide funding and implement development projects for the vital sectors in Jerusalem, in order to save the holy city and protect its sanctities.

    - To call upon international bodies and institutions and human rights bodies to assume their responsibilities by intervening immediately and expeditiously to compel the Israeli government to implement international humanitarian law and to treat prisoners and detainees in its prisons as stipulated in the Third Geneva Convention of 1949, and to condemn the policy of administrative detention of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, And to hold the occupation authorities fully responsible for the lives of the prisoners who are engaged in a hunger strike and the lives of all the prisoners, and the warning of the policy of individual and collective punishment, and the seriousness of the situation inside the detention centers of the occupation.

    - We affirm our commitment to respect the unity and sovereignty of Libya and its territorial integrity and to reject external interference and to reaffirm support for the full implementation of the Libyan political agreement signed in Skhirat on 17 December 2015 and reaffirm the support of political dialogue.

    - To condemn all acts and practices of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and to combat and uproot its roots and to eradicate its financial and intellectual resources. There is no way to link terrorism with any religion or nationality and to promote dialogue, tolerance and understanding among cultures, peoples and religions. We emphasize that military and security solutions alone are not enough to defeat terrorism. We must work to find a comprehensive multidimensional strategy to combat terrorism that includes political, social, legal, cultural, media and other dimensions.

We call on the Turkish government to immediately and unconditionally withdraw its forces from Iraq as an attack on Iraqi sovereignty and a threat to Arab national security.

We express our solidarity with Lebanon and welcome the election of General Michel Aoun as President of Lebanon as a decisive step to ensure Lebanon's ability to meet the political, security and economic challenges and to welcome the formation of a national unity government headed by Saad Hariri.
