    Mawazine News - Follow up
On Saturday, Saudi and US companies concluded deals worth $ 22 billion at the Saudi-American CEO Forum held in Riyadh.
Participating in the event, which was named "A Generation Partnership", were a number of senior oil and gas executives from both countries and coincided with US President Donald Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia.
In a statement issued by Mawazine News, the forum said corporate executives "met for the development and upgrading of the oil and gas sector based on shared resources and expertise."
"The forum focused on common aspirations that are in the interest of both sides, including job creation, global energy security and expanding business prospects."
"The results of the Forum have yielded significant results in line with the vision of the Kingdom of 2030 and President Trump's commitment to providing employment opportunities for American citizens."
Saudi Aramco's Chief Executive Officer, Amin Al Nasser, announced the expansion of the company's program to enhance the overall value added of the supply sector "Sufidah", a strategic initiative aimed at doubling the proportion of energy-related local products and services.
He explained that this will be in partnership with American suppliers such as Waldorf, Jacob, Honeywell, McDermott and Nabors. Baker Hughes also announced its commitment to the program and its intention to sign a memorandum of understanding on this matter later.
The initiative is expected to provide more than 10,000 direct jobs to Saudi citizens and generate $ 19 billion in investments.
Aramco plans to update two memorandums of understanding and develop new ones: including the start of the design and selection of offshore rigs under a $ 7 billion investment deal with Rowan to acquire and operate offshore dredgers and provide 2,800 new jobs in the Kingdom.
In addition to providing additional services and studies in the field of oil well drilling in a move to expand the joint venture with Nabors, which is expected to be worth $ 9 billion and provide four to five thousand new jobs in Saudi Arabia.
And a new partnership between Saudi Aramco and National Oil Well Farco in the Kingdom, with the aim of manufacturing high quality drilling platforms, advanced drilling equipment and after sales service.
