    Shafaq News / Iraqi Ministry of Justice announced on Tuesday, that it haa carried out the death sentence against three convicted on crimes of “terrorist“.
     
    “The death sentences were carried out against three convicted of terrorist, after gaining judicial rulings of peremptory degree and being certified by the Presidency of the Republic,” The ministry said in a statement received by “Shafaq News”.

    The statement quoted a source in the ministry as saying that " the Iraqi Reform department proceed with the implementation of death sentences if approved without any change when routine technical and administrative aspects of the sentences convicts complete “.

    “The judicial death sentences against those convicted were released in accordance with Article 4 / terrorism for crimes against the Iraqi people,” the source added.

    The Ministry of Justice has implemented in 19 of last month, the death sentences against 17 ​​convicted of terrorist acts with the exception of someone convicted of a criminal charge, including two women and an Egyptian.

    Iraq was exposed a few months ago to widespread criticism from human rights organizations and UN by recording a significant rise in executions this year

    While Iraq confirms that it will continue in the implementation of death sentences and that the time is not right to stop his punishment in order to deter armed groups that target almost continuously government and civilian targets

    But 500 prisoners fled some period ago from two prisons in Baghdad and some said that they were sentenced to death but their numbers are not preciselyknown yet.
