(KUNA) - Kuwait's parliamentarian Safa al-Hashem on Monday slammed the conference hosted by her country for the reconstruction of Iraq, accusing the latter of failing to achieve prosperity for its people.
"Instead of giving me a fish, teach me how to fish," Al-Hashim said in a tweet on Twitter. "The successive governments of Iraq have proved their failure in the reconstruction and prosperity of their people. Why are 100 billion of them delivered?"
"They handed it over to the Kuwaiti companies in the first place and to enter the Iraqi market and build and build," Al-Hashim said, asking "who will check on the exchange, and who will continue to invest it?"
