    Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yabar al-Qudah announced a Jordanian-Iraqi agreement to allow the entry of trucks between the two countries provided they are loaded with goods.
    "The decision will come into force on Saturday and will contribute to increasing national exports to the Iraqi market, in addition to resolving the obstacles that faced the process of transporting goods through the exchange yard located on the border between the two countries," the judges said in a press statement.
    In the same context, the Chairman of the Jordanian Exporters Association, Engineer Omar Abu Shasha, stressed that "allowing Jordanian trucks to enter the Iraqi market directly is considered a strategic decision that would positively affect the recovery of national exports."
    "The removal of the shipping hurdle to the Iraqi market by allowing Jordanian trucks to enter directly facilitates the manufacturer and exporter and reduces the damage to goods, as was sometimes the case through transfers across the exchange yard," he said.
    Abu Hashah said in a press statement that "Jordanian trucks were before this decision not to enter Iraq, but to reach the border and the transfer of cargo trucks to other trucks to ensure the transfer within the territory of Iraq," stressing the importance of control and secure the main road from the Jordanian border to Iraqi provinces Of any attacks on truck drivers and goods to reduce the cost of transporting goods to the Iraqi market. "
    The president of the association expressed the hope that "trade relations between the two countries and national exports will return to normal, especially as Iraq is an important market and enjoys the priority and priority of many Jordanian industrialists who prefer this market to other markets."
    "The Jordanian-Iraqi relations are unique and strategic and serve as a model in the Arab relations in various fields," he added, pointing out the importance of continuous communication and coordination between businessmen in both countries to build trade relations that reflect the special relationship between the two countries.
    He explained that "the exemption of Jordanian products from Iraqi fees gives a competitive advantage to the Jordanian product of competitiveness within the Iraqi market."
