The yield on US bonds fell as the dollar fell

Mubasher: The yield on US Treasuries fell on Friday, with yields on 10-year bonds falling from 2.9%.
By 10:30 GMT, the yield on US 10-year Treasury bills fell by a point to 2.895%.
US 10-year Treasury yields rose to 2.930% yesterday.
The yield on US 30-year bonds fell 2 points to 3.146%, while the yield on two-year US bonds rose 2 points to 2.21%.
The US dollar is at its lowest level in 3 years, heading for weekly losses, the largest in almost two years, in conjunction with mixed economic data, and is awaiting developments regarding the immigration program and the US spending plan.
Later in the day, data on home building permits, home construction and import prices in the United States are due to be announced later in the day.
