    General Traffic Directorate revealed the re-activation of Law 40 of 2015 to impose a fee on all vehicles for the purposes of maintenance of streets and bridges. 
     The director of relations and information in the Directorate Colonel Dr. Muayed Khalil Salman said in a statement to "morning" that the Directorate decided to re-work under the said law after the vote of the House of Representatives approval in accordance with the provisions of the first item of Article 61, and article III of Article 73 of the Constitution, A book requiring the Directorate to reactivate it again. 
    He explained that the law requires the Directorate to collect the annual fees of owners of all vehicles, through its departments in Baghdad and the provinces, provided that these fees are collected from citizens every five years and paid when renewing the "annual vehicle" pointing out that the fees to be received from citizens, Deductible according to the type of vehicle and its class installed by the Directorate.
    And Salman, that the fees imposed on private vehicles of all types set at sixty thousand dinars every five years, while imposing duties on vehicles tax according to the decision depending on the type of vehicle, as the resolution required the owners of taxis with a load of five passengers, Dinars and vehicles that can accommodate more than five passengers and up to eighteen passengers, a fee of one hundred and fifty thousand dinars, and eighteen passengers and above 210 thousand dinars, all paid every five years as we have already mentioned.
    He added that the fees imposed on the vehicles of the load varied with the variety of carrying the vehicle to be one hundred and eighty thousand dinars for cars with a tonnage of one ton only, and two hundred and forty thousand dinars for vehicles with a load of more than one ton and up to five tons, and three hundred thousand dinars for vehicles that are loaded more than Five tons and up to ten tons, and three hundred and sixty thousand dinars for vehicles carrying more than ten tons and up to fifteen tons, while the fees imposed on vehicles with a load of more than 15 tons and above, as well as service mechanisms "Acetals, creams and slugs" Of thousand dinars.
    The director of relations and information in the Traffic Directorate, stressed that the law authorizes the Directorate to distribute the amounts collected from the owners of vehicles between the ministries and service departments. Twenty-five percent of the amount is allocated to the Ministry of Construction and Housing for the purpose of maintaining roads and bridges. And twenty percent to the Municipality of Baghdad to take care of the maintenance of streets and major intersections.[/rtl]
