The 29th Arab Summit, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will take place on Sunday in the eastern region of Dhahran. The Syrian file, which is the focus of most Arab leaders in their speeches before the summit,
The summit begins after King Salman bin Abdul Aziz receives the presidency of Jordan's King Abdullah II, and then moves to the closed meetings that will continue tomorrow, and conclude with a large military parade attended by leaders.
The agenda includes 16 items, and the Syrian file is expected to receive the attention of the majority of Arab leaders in their speeches before the summit, after the strike by the United States, Britain and France on chemical and military installations of the Syrian regime in response to the chemical attack in the city of Douma.
