Pyongyang threatens to cancel Kim Trump summit

North Korea threatened to cancel the upcoming summit between its leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported.
Yonhap said Pyongyang also canceled high-level talks with Seoul over US military exercises in South Korea, Max Thunder.
North Korea's official agency said the United States "should reflect on the fate of the planned summit between the United States and North Korea in light of these provocative military maneuvers."
"There are limits to the amount of good intentions and opportunities we can offer," she said, warning that "the exercises between the two allies are a simulation of an attempted invasion and provocation at a time when inter-Korean relations are improving."
It also described the military exercises as a "blatant challenge to the Panmunjun Declaration" between the leaders of the two Koreas, referring to the fact that "before the ink dries out."
The "Max Thunder" exercise began on May 11 and lasts for two weeks, and is supposed to involve about 100 aircraft, according to "AFP".
"Max Thunder is a regular exercise scheduled long before the US-North Korea summit was reached," the South Korean Defense Ministry said in a statement.
