[ltr]Speaker of the Parliament Salim al-Jubouri on Sunday received the negotiating delegation of the coalition, while stressing the formation of a government that meets the aspirations of the Iraqi people.[/ltr]
[ltr]"The latter received on Sunday the negotiating delegation of a coalition headed by Nasar al-Rubaie," the statement said. "During the meeting, the results of the legislative elections, the circumstances that accompanied them and means to face the next phase were discussed through common visions and understandings" .[/ltr]
[ltr]He stressed Jubouri, "the need to mobilize all efforts to reach understandings leading to the formation of a government that includes all parties and be reflective of the reality of Iraq's diverse society."[/ltr]
[ltr]He added that "the stage requires all political blocs to make concessions to come out with a unified vision on the formation of the next government and to meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people."[/ltr]
[ltr]The Electoral Commission for elections in Iraq, the dawn of Saturday, May 19, 2018, the victory of the bloc, "Suron" led by Muqtada al-Sadr in the parliamentary elections, and obtained 54 seats, came in second place, led by Hadi al-Ameri, winning 47 seats, followed by the victory bloc led Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, who won 42 seats[/ltr]
