    - The Directorate of Passports of Sulaymaniyah announced on Wednesday that the commercial movement at the Beshtah crossing between the Kurdistan Region and Iran will be opened on Thursday.
    A statement issued by the Directorate, read by Shafak News, that "commissioned by the Vice-President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, visited the director of Sulaimaniyah passports Salar Abdullah with the representative of the border crossings, Baghdad, with the aim of discussing the opening of the crossing Bsta (Sertk) between the region and Iran.
    The statement pointed out that during the meeting with the Federal Border Crossings Authority, the Iranian side was informed that the commercial movement at the Saratak crossing will open at 7:00 am on May 24.
    The crossing is part of the informal crossings and is located within the district of Darbandikhan, and the opening of hundreds of people from the Kurdistan region and the other side of Kurdistan, Iran will benefit economically from it.
    The Iraqi government closed the border crossings with Iran after a regional referendum was held at the end of September last year.
