Tehran warns Washington against targeting its allies in the region
A senior Iranian cleric warned the United States on Wednesday that if it attacked Iran, its allies in the region, including Israel, would be targeted.
"The offer by US President Donald Trump to hold direct talks with Iranian leaders is unacceptable," Iranian media quoted Ahmad Khatami as saying during Eid prayers in Tehran.
He pointed out that "the imposition of America on Iran to accept the talks, not a negotiation, but a dictatorship," pointing out that "Iran will stand in the face of dictatorship." Finished
