Al-Kaabi: The presence of Arabs in the meetings of the International Federation to develop successful solutions to crises

The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan al-Kaabi, said that the delegation of Iraqi parliamentary participation in the work of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva, stressed in a coordination meeting of the Arab Group, the importance of uniting positions from the issues before the International Parliamentary Assembly.
During his speech at the Arab Parliaments Coordinating Meeting, Al-Kaabi stressed that the voice of the Arabs should be strongly present in the meetings of the Inter-Parliamentary Union to contribute to tackling current issues and developing effective solutions for them and influencing decisions that serve our peoples first and foremost.
He also called upon the current Islamic parliamentary delegations to take a unified stance on the pressing issues facing the peoples, especially Palestine, pointing out that Jerusalem should be present in the international resolution during these days.
Al-Kaabi said in his speech that efforts and coordination between the Islamic groups should be intensified to adopt a unified position to address the serious deficit in the UNRWA budget in order to ensure its services to the Palestinian refugees and stand against the US decision to stop the aid provided to UNRWA.
