BAGHDAD / A member of the National Coalition Hamid al-Mutlaq said on Sunday that the promises of President Adel Abdul Mahdi to the Iraqi people will clash with the "centers of power" of the parties and their conditions.
Al-Mutlaq said that "the promises made by Abdul-Mahdi to the citizens will collide with the centers of power of the corrupt and powerful parties and external entities that control the Iraqi scene." He pointed out that "the political situation so far is still unclear and unpredictable."
"It is hard to believe that the Iraqi government will be satisfactory to the Iraqi people, because the parties and the corrupt are still in sensitive and strong positions," he said.
The media office of the Prime Minister-designate, announced last week, the intention of Adel Abdul-Mahdi, to present his ministerial cabinet with the ministerial platform this week, pointing out that Abdul Mahdi is required contacts with the Presidency of Parliament and leaders of the political blocs to determine the appropriate day to submit the names of its ministerial formation.
Abdul Mahdi had launched a website for the nomination of ministries, which lasted for 48 hours, and closed the site on Thursday afternoon (October 11).
