The leaders of 70 countries, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, American Donald Trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, have converged on Paris to mark the centennial of the end of the First World War.
High school students in French, English and German will read during the ceremony today, testimonies written by soldiers who fought the first war that ended on 11 November 1918.
On Sunday afternoon, French President Emmanuel Macaron will open the Paris Peace Forum, which will be attended by guest leaders, to discuss a number of international issues that would avoid repeating the mistakes that led to the outbreak of the First World War. Finished
