[rtl]The Ministry of Agriculture announced on Monday that it had taken two measures to protect Iraq's fish wealth after hundreds of tons of fish died, while confirming the cessation of deaths after following a number of measures.[/rtl]
[rtl]"The main reason for the death of fish is the environmental pollution caused by the density of floating cages and the lack of water revenues," Undersecretary Mehdi al-Qaisi said in an interview with Al-Tawhid Press.[/rtl]
[rtl]"We have started using sterilizers and we have begun educating fish breeders to avoid such cases," Qaisi said, adding that "cases of fish deaths have stopped."[/rtl]
