The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects the Iraqi economy to grow next year in 2019 as Iran's economy shrinks and shrinks.
"The economic growth in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and other oil countries will reach 0.9 percent next year," the IMF said in a report released yesterday. "The Iranian economy is expected to shrink by 1.6 percent this year and 3.6 percent next year, .
"The Gulf economy in general will return to growth in 2019 after shrinking in some of its countries, but it remains vulnerable to fluctuations in oil prices," he said.
"The rise in oil prices after the significant drop to 2016 will allow the GCC economy to grow by 2.4% this year and 3% in 2019, after shrinking by 0.4% in 2017," the IMF said.
