A member of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy and Investment, on Thursday, described the investment law as a repellent.
"The investment law is still an oppressor for investors, especially with the insistence of the state departments to follow the routine in promoting investment transactions without being indifferent to the one-stop-shop system, which stipulates the link between the relevant departments and the Investment Authority," Salem Tahmir al-Tufayli said in a statement received by the agency All Iraq. A link facilitates the process of red tape and attracts investors to the country added Tafili during his visit to the investment Babylon.
He pointed out that "the Iraqi Council of Representatives is obliged to facilitate the work of the Investment Authority if he really wanted to establish a service revolution in the country," praising "the work of the Babylon Investment Commission and its employees and urged them to make more tender."
