A member of the Committee on Economy and Investment Parliamentary Salim Tahmir Tufaili, that the investment law is still an oppressor for investors in Iraq.
"The investment law is still an oppressor for investors, especially with the insistence of the state departments to follow the routine in promoting transactions without paying attention to the one-window system, which stipulates the link between the relevant departments and the investment authority," he said in a statement.
He added that the House of Representatives is obliged to facilitate the work of the Investment Authority if he really wanted to establish a service revolution in the country.
