Washington is causing a new drop in oil prices
Oil prices plummeted as crude inventories in the US jumped to a record high, raising concerns about a global supply slump.
Brent crude ended the session low to $ 62.52 a barrel, while US WTI crude fell 78 cents, or 1.43 percent, to settle at $ 53.85 a barrel.Trading was mild due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States.
