The Kremlin regrets US President Donald Trump's decision to cancel his meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, a spokesman for the Russian presidency said on Friday.
"We regret the decision of the US administration to cancel the scheduled meeting between the two presidents in Buenos Aires," the Kremlin spokesman was quoted by the state news agency Tass as saying.
He added that "this means that talks on serious international and bilateral issues will be postponed indefinitely," stressing that "with regard to Russian President Vladimir Putin, he is ready to make contacts with his US counterpart."
On Thursday, the US president canceled his scheduled meeting with his Russian counterpart on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Argentina because the Russian Coast Guard intercepted Ukrainian ships and detained a number of Ukrainian sailors.
"Since ships and sailors did not return to Ukraine from Russia, I decided it would be better for all parties concerned to cancel my previously scheduled meeting in Argentina with President Vladimir Putin," Trump wrote on Twitter. "I look forward to a useful summit again when this situation is resolved. ! ".

The German chancellor said that the government plane that Chancellor Angela Merkel traveled to Buenos Aires to participate in the G20 summit made an emergency landing in Cologne because of a technical problem.
"After a technical problem, the government plane landed safely in Cologne a few minutes ago," the chancellery said at about 20:20 hours.
The chancellor did not say when Merkel would resume her trip to the Argentine capital, but the German news agency DPA quoted her correspondents accompanying the chancellor as saying that Merkel would take another plane to Buenos Aires on Thursday evening.
The plane, which was exposed to the technical problem of the Airbus A340-300 and was waiting when landing on the runway fire engines, according to "DPA".
The agency said that the pilot of the plane told about 20:30 (1930 GMT) passengers that he will be forced to land in Cologne because a technical problem led to the interruption of many electrical systems.
The plane was over the Netherlands when it happened. It returned to Germany and headed for Cologne because the city was the seat of the government plane and the replacement plane would be used by Merkel and her entourage.
The agency said the landing was not smooth because of the large amount of fuel that was still loaded.

    • Nov. 29, 2018BUENOS AIRES — International leaders arriving at an economic summit meeting in Buenos Aires confronted the delicate question Thursday of how to approach Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, whom American intelligence agencies and other Western officials have blamed for the killing of a Saudi dissident.

The summit meeting, which begins Friday, is the first test of the 33-year-old crown prince’s ability to retain his status as an international statesman after the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi, a Virginia resident and Washington Post columnist who was ambushed on Oct. 2 by Saudi agents in a consulate in Istanbul.
As the leaders assembled, an Argentine judge took the first steps in a legal inquiry into criminal charges against Prince Mohammed for human rights abuses. The advocacy group Human Rights Watch petitioned the Argentine courts this week for a criminal investigation into Prince Mohammed’s potential responsibility for the torture of Mr. Khashoggi and certain Saudi prisoners as well as for war crimes committed by Saudi forces fighting in Yemen. A Saudi-led military intervention there has led to what the United Nations has called the world’s worst humanitarian disaster, and United Nations experts have said both sides may have committed war crimes.
Legal authorities said there is no possibility that charges could be filed against Prince Mohammed before the end of the two-day summit, which begins Friday. Nonetheless, Judge Ariel Lijo formally requested information on Wednesday from Argentina’s foreign ministry about guarantees of legal immunity given to Prince Mohammed while he was attending the summit. The judge also requested information from Turkey, Yemen, the International Criminal Court and elsewhere to begin to evaluating the allegations.

In a reading of the G20 summit, which ended on Saturday, Western political and economic circles agree that the "political crisis" at the G20 summit undermined attempts to find solutions to trade and economic issues, The world witnessed for the first time an extraordinary summit of the Economic Group of 20 and with 19 world leaders as well as the European Union.

Politics was present before the economy

Media reports in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires confirm that this year's G20 summit was an exceptional event. Despite interesting issues this year, such as Trump's rampant trade war against China, politics was present before the economy. An opportunity to flexibly flex muscles between the United States and Russia after Moscow opened fire on Ukrainian ships trying to cross the border between the Black Sea and the Azov Sea where the United States' response was ignored, prompting Trump to cancel its scheduled meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin President Trump continued his unwelcome comments on the hatred of pluralism and his determination to achieve the "America First" slogan at an important UN meeting.

    • The G-20 witnessed an unusual and uncommon set of scenes among the leaders of these major economies. Russian President Vladimir Putin drew up a map of his French counterpart Emmanuel Macaron to explain the route taken by three Ukrainian military vessels in the Kerch Strait when the Russian authorities seized it. He explained to the French president the Ukrainian route in the neutral and then regional waters, explaining where he crossed and taking the facts from his point of view, which took about 10 minutes.

The G20 summit starts today .. This is the agenda 201812011120402040-300x158Tension between the United States and Mexico is on the top

There was a lot of talk about Britain's exit from the EU, how trade was affected by this impending pullout, and the expected tensions of the British divorce process. As expected, President Trump spoke harshly with US allies in Europe, Asia and North America about steel tariffs With the threat of all the "friends" who want to trade with Iran, and the "border tension" between the United States and Mexico over the summit. The United States wants Mexico to keep as many asylum seekers as possible who have fled Honduras, El Salvador and Colombia Because of violence and poverty, while Mexico is trying to deal with large convoys of immigrants, which ultimately increases the burden on the country's exhausted economy.

    • The summit was also marked by symbolic reconciliation, 36 years after the Falkland War, between Britain and Argentina. The first British prime minister to visit Buenos Aires was Teresa May. The striking observation of Argentina's observers was that bilateral meetings between the majority of the leaders of the 20 countries, Of the world's total output, has been given priority attention and follow-up of the official negotiations of the summit, ten years after the first summit devoted to face the financial crisis.

The biggest event for Trump and Xi Jinping

Although the summit was held amid growing concerns about the global economic developments, the US-China trade war and the future of world trade, at a time when oil prices are collapsing due to oversupply, OPEC countries are making an imminent decision to cut production to keep prices But the biggest event was the meeting between US President Trump and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, in an attempt by Washington and Beijing to reach an end to tensions and prevent the increase of tariffs next year,

    • Trump had preceded his meeting with Xi at an unprecedented triple summit with Indian Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Japan's Shinzo Abe on the sidelines of the summit. Trump chose to tighten pressure on Beijing and its growing ambitions in the China Sea through a statement issued by the trilateral summit, The Pacific and Indian Ocean is a free and open area.

Trump's "deliberate" absence from the World Trade Session

To avoid embarrassment and embarrassment, President Donald Trump missed the second session of the G20 summit on Saturday evening, which was dedicated to world trade after the president put the sticks on wheels and ignited trade wars with close and distant people. Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Arishkin said that The meeting was less important, because of the absence of President Trump because he is more interested in trade and in the development of customs duties and taxes on the movement of goods and their exchange in the world, and more than shoots trade agreements, even with his nearest neighbors in Canada and Mexico, so the discussion was incomplete because the positions of Russia and Europe China and India are close on the issue of liberalization of world trade barriers and obstacles.
