The Parliamentary Finance Committee intends to investigate the outlets for the sale of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/2021/%D9%85%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%85%D9%84%D8%A9]the[/url] hard [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/2021/%D9%85%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%85%D9%84%D8%A9]currency auction and the[/url] corruption that has occurred.
Committee member Haneen Qado said in a press statement: "The [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/2021/%D9%85%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%85%D9%84%D8%A9]auction of currency[/url] is being exploited by some quarters and personalities that are smuggling capital out of Iraq," stressing: "the possibility of establishing mechanisms and controls capable of reducing the manipulation and smuggling that take place in the auction currency" .
"The money that is smuggled is very large and will investigate with officials of the Central Bank about this file and the corruption that is taking place in it," he said.
"The [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/6792/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%86%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9]Finance Committee[/url] rejects the dictates of any party or party aimed at complimenting a person or a party at the expense of transparency," he said.
The scourge of corruption after 2003 hit many departments and institutions of the Iraqi state, causing the waste and loss of more than 800 billion dollars, according to specialists in the economic sector.
