"Victory": Abadi rejected an offer to assume the post of Vice President of the Republic

Revealed the victory coalition headed by former Prime Minister Haider Abadi, on Sunday, the rejection of the latter offer to assume the post of Vice President, indicating that there are calls within the coalition and outside the need to take Abadi to this position.
MP Huda Sajjad said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that Haidar al-Abadi had offered him the post of vice president but he rejected this in detail, without explaining the reasons for the rejection.
"It is necessary to have one deputy to the President of the Republic," she said, adding that "political consensus is concerned in the presence of Vice President of the Republic."
