General Milley appoints chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that he would appoint General Mark Milley as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Trump said on Twitter that Millie, who is currently Army Chief of Staff, will take over the post, replacing General Joseph Danford at a date to be determined later.
