    The Central Bank announced on Thursday that the process of settling the balances of open creditor banks with branches of Barbil and Sulaymaniyah, indicating that the value of this amounted to more than (570) billion dinars. 

    The bank said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, a copy of it, "Based on the joint efforts between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Central Bank, has been a settlement of the balances of banks open credit to the branches of the Central Bank in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah," noting that "more than (190) billion Dinars during the month of December 2018 in addition to the previous repayments that exceeded (380) billion dinars. "




    The bank added that "the total paid for its history amounted to more than (570) billion dinars," adding that "the installment amounts have been installment on a number of installments." 

    He said that "the above arrangements show the seriousness of the administration in the Kurdistan region and the Central Bank of Iraq to settle this issue to facilitate banking work in the region and enhance reliability in the banking system."
