The conference was attended by 42 heads of Arab and Islamic courts and councils. The delegation of Iraq was headed by the President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Medhat Al Mahmoud.

"Terrorist acts undermine the promotion of a decent life for all people and the peaceful coexistence of all religions and beliefs," the statement said.
"Judicial and constitutional authorities play a central role in supporting the rule of law, human rights against unjustified interventions, and the judicial authorities play a leading role in promoting the promotion of the rule of law and human rights at the national, regional and international levels," the statement stressed.
