New Zealand has received the new year with fireworks to make 2018 a 2018 welcome page.

Australia's largest city said it would launch the biggest fireworks in Sydney Bay this year. She spoke of a record amount of firearms, colors and unprecedented effects that will light up the city's sky for a million and a half million spectators.

"I am confident that we will enjoy the view of our Bay, which is never seen before," said Sydney Mayor Clover Moore.

Since the United Nations has announced 2019 years of indigenous languages, the Gulf of Sydney will feature performances celebrating indigenous cultures, including paintings of the lights on the pillars of the famous Sydney Bridge.

In Hong Kong, some 300,000 people are expected to visit Victoria Harbor to watch the 10-minute fireworks from five locations.

In Moscow, the Security and Anti-Corruption Department in Moscow said that the red square in the Russian capital will be open on New Year's Eve for all wishing to receive the new year there.

On the Champs-Elysées, the celebrations will be held amid tight security, from observation posts and checks, in the heart of Paris, where celebrants, including tourists, are expected to flock, as well as "yellow jackets" protestors who promised "a festive event without violence."

London will move to the new year by celebrating its relationship with Europe, while Brixt raises a sharp divide between the British. Fireworks in central London will be accompanied by music from European artists.
