Abdul Mahdi discusses with Iran's oil minister strengthening relations and bilateral cooperationAl-Nour News / Baghdad
Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi discussed with Iranian Oil Minister Beijing Zangana the strengthening of relations and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
"The Minister of Oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran and his accompanying delegation met yesterday with the Minister of Oil in the Islamic Republic of Iran and his accompanying delegation. He stressed the depth of relations between the two countries and the two neighboring peoples and the importance of enhancing them in areas that serve the interests of the two peoples, oil and gas".
For his part, said the Iranian Oil Minister, "his country's pride in the level of relations with Iraq and the aspiration to develop, and his hope to achieve more cooperation and meet the needs of Iraq's gas."
The meeting was attended by Oil Minister Thamer Ghadhban and a number of officials and advisors in the oil, gas and economy sectors in both countries.
