The leader of the Popular Popular Struggle militia, Aws al-Khafaji, warned of the people's stand by the American forces in case they spread again in Iraqi cities.

A tribal sheikh criticized the role of the Iraqi government in ending the crisis in the country and that this may anger the street.
Criticism of the tribal leaders called on the Iraqi government, the leader of the popular rally, to express its fears of a renewed deployment [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1992/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%82%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%AA %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%8A%D9%83%D9%8A%D8%A9]of US troops in[/url] Iraq. "We are afraid that the people will welcome the American forces with warmth," he said.
About 5,000 US troops have been deployed in Iraq since the formation of the US-led "International Alliance" in 2014 to fight the "terrorist" organization.
