    The Iraqi Ministry of Finance issued a joint statement on Monday of official talks between the Iraqi and Jordanian official delegations headed by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Finance Minister Fuad Hussein and Deputy Prime Minister of Jordan Rajai Al-Muasher.
    The statement said that "from the brotherly and historical relations established between the Republic of Iraq and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and to strengthen the bonds of joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries, a meeting was held in Baghdad on Monday under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance of the Republic of Iraq Fuad Hussein and Deputy Prime Minister in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan And the Minister of State Rajai Moasher and the large ministerial delegation accompanying him, where he held two deputy prime ministers in the two countries for a bilateral meeting before heading to preside over the official talks in the presence of ministers in the Iraqi and Jordanian delegations, To discuss the economic files and ways to enhance joint cooperation in areas that serve the interests of the Iraqi and Jordanian peoples, where it was agreed during the discussions to take the following actions and according to specific dates:
    In the sector of industry and trade it was agreed that the Iraqi Council of Ministers to decide on the decision to exempt Jordanian goods from customs duties at its next meeting.
    The Jordanian side also informed the Iraqi side of the measures taken by it regarding the establishment of the joint Jordanian-Iraqi industrial zone. The two parties agreed to complete all the special procedures for the region prior to February 2, 2019. In addition, 2019 for the preparation of (RFP), and held an extraordinary meeting of the General Assembly of the company to discuss all details related to the establishment of the Joint Industrial Zone.
    In the transport sector, it was agreed to start work on the door to door mechanism for goods and goods of perishable and petroleum products on 2/2/2019, covering all types of goods thereafter, and a meeting of the concerned security authorities from both sides in Baghdad within one week from the date of The Jordanian side welcomed the decision of the Jordanian Cabinet to exempt Iraqi goods imported through Aqaba from 75% Economic Dome of the special, and also encouraged the two sides to sign a commercial agreement between Royal Jordanian and Iraqi Airways in the field of (common code) (Code Share) training and cooperation in the fields of aviation and air transport).
