    The British ambassador in Baghdad John Wilkes on Thursday to allocate large funds to support projects to provide electricity in southern Iraq.
    "A large part of the first £ 1 billion of UK financial exports has been allocated to support electricity projects in southern Iraq," Wilkes said in a statement on social networking platforms Twitter.
    "Making more joint efforts to boost electricity is a priority for Iraq and the UK," he said.
