Deputy denies the existence of US military bases in Iraq

The MP of the Fatah Alliance, Walid al-Sahlani, that the uproar that occurred about the presence of US military bases in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is a media escalation and an attempt to destabilize the stable security situation.
Sahlani said in a press statement that "there are US advisers to train Iraqi forces and provide military advice to them."
He pointed out that "the uproar over the presence of US military bases is a media intimidation and an attempt to disrupt the stable security situation in Iraq."
He added that "there is a prior agreement between [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and America provides for the intervention of US forces in the event of a threat to the democratic system in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] at the request of the federal government."
"We believe that there is a security agreement must be respected, and any foreign forces enter Iraqi territory without the permission of the federal government, is a major breach of international treaties and a violation of the Charter of the United Nations."
