    Prince Khalid bin Salman, after his appointment as Deputy Defense Minister, expressed his thanks and appreciation to King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and his Crown Prince, pledging to be a sword to the Minister of Defense in the face of every aggressor in his homeland.
    Prince Khalid wrote through his official account in Twitter, "Here we go back to the field of glory and honor," asking God success in his new duties in the service of his religion and country and leadership. 
    Prince Khalid published a previous tirade on Saturday, enclosing it with his soldiers' wounded soldiers on the front lines, who are currently being treated in the United States, praising their bravery, courage and role in defending their homeland.

    Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday the appointment of Princess Rima, ambassador to Riyadh in Washington, replacing Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the brother of the Saudi king, who was appointed deputy minister of defense at the rank of minister.

    Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the brother of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was appointed Deputy Defense Minister on Saturday.
    Princess Rima bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz was appointed ambassador to the United States to become the first Saudi woman to serve as ambassador. 
    The move comes after Riyadh's efforts to overcome international outrage over the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi last year, damaging relations with Western allies including the United States. 
    Prince Khalid has been Saudi ambassador to Washington since 2017. Prince Mohammed has been defense minister since 2015 when King Salman took power in the country. 
    And Princess Rima, the daughter of Prince Bandar, who has been Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States for a long time. 
    Princess Rima worked in the private sector before joining the General Authority of Sport in Saudi Arabia, where she defended women's participation in sports and focused on increasing the empowerment of women.
    Princess Rima follows in the footsteps of her father, who served as Saudi ambassador to Washington from 1983 to 2005. 
    She spent much of her childhood in the United States because of her father's job, and received a bachelor's degree in Georgetown University specializing in museum studies. 
    Since returning to Saudi Arabia in 2005, she has worked in the public and private sectors. 
    She has held several economic and commercial positions, including the general manager of Herfy Nichols in Riyadh. 
    Princess Rima is known for her advocacy of women's rights. 
    Prior to her appointment, she served as an ambassador to the General Authority for Sport to expand women's participation in sports activities.
