    The fund for the reconstruction of the areas affected by terrorism, on the 11th of this month, an agreement with the State of Kuwait to fund health projects in the country worth 85 million dollars.
    The official in the Department of Information and Awareness of the Ministry of Health and Environment, Mohammed Ghafel, said in a statement quoted by the newspaper "morning" and the official "Economic News", "The Fund for the reconstruction of areas affected by terrorist operations concluded an agreement with Kuwait worth 85 million dollars in the second phase Of the grant provided by Kuwait to finance projects to reconstruct the health sector in areas affected by terrorist operations and a total amount of up to 100 million dollars.
    He added that "the agreement came in accordance with the commitment made by Kuwait during the Washington donors conference to support Iraq to contribute to the coverage of the humanitarian needs of those affected by the terrorist operations experienced by the country," pointing out that "the Kuwaiti Fund has concluded the above agreement for financing the emergency program for the health sector in its first phase during In January of last year, and set up several projects with a grant of $ 15 million.
    "These projects aim to contribute to meeting the health needs in the affected areas of the governorates through the demolition, reconstruction, rehabilitation and equipping of a number of health centers and hospitals in the various liberated areas distributed among Anbar, Ninewa, Salahaddin, Kirkuk, Babil and Diyala. For the citizens of those areas, in preparation for the return of displaced persons to their homes and ensure the provision of a safe and stable environment for them.
    He pointed out that "the projects concluded under these grants will be completed according to the plan during the middle of next year, including the demolition and reconstruction, rehabilitation and equipping of 32 health centers, while distributed hospitals to the affected provinces also," explaining that "the works also include: civil, architectural, electrical and mechanical" .
