The latest of these accounts is what the lawyer for the post of Captain Diaa al-Saadi said: "What happened is the result of an attempt to prevent [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/106111/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%87%D9%8A%D8%A6%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%A7%D9%85%D8%A9]the public body[/url] from being transparent about the details of the financial report of the union at its previous session and discussing it."
"The custom was that this process will take place on the eve of the ballot, which will take place next Thursday, March 7," Saadi said in a press statement.
He continued: "The process of discussing the financial report and the details of the doors of exchange is guaranteed to the General Assembly, but attempts were made within the session to deprive [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/106111/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%87%D9%8A%D8%A6%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%A7%D9%85%D8%A9]the public body[/url] of this right and there was a quarrel," denying that this was because of the abolition of the nomination of some members.

The union said on its Facebook page: "The candidates in the union elections invalidate their candidacy, they tried to attack the president of the Bar Association and members of the Bar Association," adding: "The [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] erupted because of the abolition of their nomination in accordance with the de-Baathification law."
