Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Thursday expressed his intention to expand bilateral relations between the two countries. 

"Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi received in his official office today the Minister of Trade and Investment of Saudi Arabia Majid Al-Qasabi and his accompanying delegation," Abdul-Mahdi's office said in a statement received by Alsumaria News. 

"We look forward to establishing the best relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all fields and we cherish the common desire to establish broad relations on the right bases for the benefit of the two peoples in the two brotherly countries," he said.
