The Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced on Monday the appointment of Minister of Oil Thamir Al-Ghadhban as Chairman of the Transparency Initiative Council and Alaa Muhyiddin as its Executive Director. 

"The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers has issued a decree ordering the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil Thamer Al-Ghadhban to head the Board of Trustees of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative and to renew Alaa Mohiuddin's position as Executive Director," the Secretariat said in a statement.
