WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A US surveillance center has said it has seen little activity in North Korean missile sites since early March, despite the failure of the US-Korean summit last month in Vietnam.
The CSIS said: "Although the recent activity at the Suhai launch facility appears to have brought it back to operation after dismantling procedures for North Korea in the summer of 2018, there was no significant activity in the platform Test the vertical motor or launch pad since our recent report on Suhai. "
"The environmental coverings on the secret tower and the rail-mounted launch platform are closed to conceal any activity inside. There does not seem to be a launch vehicle. "
"No significant activity has been detected anywhere else on the site ... This site will be monitored more aggressively in line with the facility's processing potential for future use."
In a report issued on March 5, the NRC said North Korea was rapidly rebuilding the Sohay Long Range Launch Facility.
A summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump failed to reach an agreement between the two sides on Pyongyang's nuclear disarmament mechanism because of Washington's insistence that it retain its "right" to impose sanctions on North Korea despite its acceptance of nuclear disarmament. And stop its programs in exchange for lifting the sanctions on them
