    BAGHDAD - The 
    MP of the coalition of the other Mdr Azerjawi, Wednesday, that the provincial councils will freeze and end its work after the amendment of its law within the parliament, pointing out that the deputies will take the role of oversight and follow-up on the work of conservatives from a lower position. 
    "There is an amendment to the provincial elections law No. 21, where the law contains a loophole that allows the provincial councils to continue their work even after the end of their term in the council," al-Azerjawi said in a statement. 
    He added that "the amendment of the provincial councils law, which will provide for the end of the work of the provincial councils after four years, and when voting on this amendment will consider the work of the provincial councils suspended, illegal and frozen."
    Azzergawi said that "the provincial deputies will be charged with following up the work of their provinces from a lower position, while the governor will continue to exercise its functions naturally under the eyes of the provincial deputies concerned, who have the power to dismiss the governor in case of violation of the law in force. Ending / 25 n
