A deputy for Nineveh calls on Abdul Mahdi to intervene by choosing the new governor

Called for the intervention of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi in the appointment of the governor of Nineveh by proxy and gives him broader powers to manage the province until the provincial elections, noting that the provincial council is lost to legitimacy and can not elect a new governor of Nineveh.
"The door to run for governor, but the Ninewa provincial council does not have the right and legitimacy to elect the governor because their official term expired, especially that the people gave them the mandate to manage the province for four years, and today their powers limited to the conduct of business."
He added that "the remaining time is not too long to hold provincial elections, and there is a sale and purchase of the post of governor through bargaining and deals by the blocks controlling the province of Nineveh."
He explained that "whoever pays more may get the largest number of votes within the Nineveh Provincial Council to obtain the position of governor, and therefore it will return to Benin for the first box, and the new governor will be bound by the authorities that brought him to the post."
The network pointed out that "the deputies of the province of Nineveh expressed their opinion to the Prime Minister in order to come as a candidate nominated by [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/82334/%D8%B9%D8%A8%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%87%D8%AF%D9%8A][size=13]Abdul Mahdi[/url] to take over the administration of Nineveh until the provincial elections, may be Mizahm Khayat one of the options for it.
And the opening of the Nineveh Provincial Council, Sunday (April 13, 2019), the door of nomination to those wishing to run for the post of governor of Nineveh.
A source familiar with the province, "the Nineveh Provincial Council opened the door to run for the post of governor, in succession to the article," Nofal Akoub. "
The House of Representatives voted unanimously to remove the governor of Nineveh Nawfal al-Aakoub and his two deputies, Abdul Qader Sinjari and Hasan al-'Alaf, at the request of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, on charges of corruption and sinking the tourist ferry in the forest area in the city of Mosul.
