Parliamentary Foreign Affairs: The Parliaments of Neighboring Summit in the framework of coordinated efforts of the three presidencies[/rtl]

(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Iraqi parliament will host a conference of the heads of parliaments of neighboring countries on Saturday, April 20, entitled "Stability and Development".
A statement by the Foreign Relations Committee said that the Baghdad Summit of the parliaments of neighboring countries comes within the framework of coordinated diplomatic efforts between the three presidencies to further open cooperation with neighboring countries to enhance security and stability in the region on the one hand and further development and prosperity for their peoples on the other.
That the convening of this parliamentary summit in Baghdad is a historic achievement of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and clearly confirmed, the pivotal Iraq, as a player essential and effective in the security and stability of the region. In the Foreign Relations Committee, we consider the openness of the Arab and regional countries to Iraq, revealing the importance of Iraq and its role to enhance the security and prosperity of the region.
"This summit, which we wish to succeed, and which was initiated by the wise Speaker of the House of Representatives Mr. Mohamed Halabousi, should be a step followed by steps in the development of the parliamentary relations of the combined countries, especially in the framework of developing legislation that serves the interests of the people, Corruption and transnational crime, as well as the need to ratify cooperation agreements in various fields serving the peoples of the region.
The success of the Baghdad summit and the announcement issued in the name of (Baghdad Declaration) is undoubtedly a great success for Iraq and the House of Representatives expressing the will of the people.
We can not, in conclusion, welcome all the distinguished guests who come to Baghdad for peace and wish them success.
