The Saudi Foreign Ministry, on Monday, rejected the statements of the cleric Muqtada al - Sadr against Bahrain.
"Saudi Arabia has refused to interfere in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and anything that might prejudice its sovereignty, security and stability," the official SPA news agency quoted an official source as saying.
The source added that "Saudi Arabia looks forward to a strong relationship between the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq, in which mutual respect prevails and which contributes to regional security and stability."
On Monday, Saudi newspapers attacked Mr. Moqtada al-Sadr after his recent statement, saying his positions were "pro-active" for the leader of the Islamic revolution, Ali Khamenei, following an offensive publication of the embassy. Ending / 25
