The government and the parliamentary finance committee have agreed to change the general budget system for 2020, which raises concern about the share of the Kurdistan region.
"The representative of the Committee met with the government to start the budget strategy for the next year, because the committee agrees with the government to change the budget system from the balance of items and schedules to the budget program and implementation, and this means that the budget more emphasis on Investment side ".
"The budget share of the budget depends on the relations between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government, and the budget is part of many other problems between the two governments, especially the problem of oil and gas, customs revenues and the problem of Article 140 of the Constitution and the budget is part of these problems, which depend on the agreement of the parties. "
"If the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government agree, solutions to the issue of oil and customs revenues and the implementation of the budget of 2020 will not be difficult, but if the situation remains as now without any solutions, it creates for the Kurdistan region without any doubt large problems in the budget Year 2020 ".
