Economist: The government should look for safe ways to export oil

"The tensions and escalation and the threat of closing the Persian Gulf to oil supplies may be taken seriously in the coming days, so Iraq and oil countries in the Arabian Gulf should look for alternatives to export their shipments to the world market," he told a news briefing.
"The Strait of Hormuz passes through more than a third of the world's oil needs, which could cause a major economic disaster if it affects not only the producing countries, but the consuming countries that will stop the factories and power stations and all the means of transport that depend on derivatives Oil ".
"Iraq should speed up the completion of the Basra-Aqaba pipeline on the Red Sea and secure the expansion of the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline as well as the activation of the Basra-Yanbu pipeline on the Red Sea and explore the possibility of establishing a new export route to the Mediterranean through Syria, .
