Baghdad - Mawazine News 
published / Mawazin News / text of the amendment of the Penal Code contained in the Penal Code No. (111) for the year 1969 amended and voted by the House of Representatives. 
The text of the amendment as follows: on 
behalf of the people of the 
Presidency of the Republic 
based on what was approved by the House of Representatives and approved by the President of the Republic on the basis of the provisions of item (i) of Article (61) and item (iii) of Article 73 of the Constitution , 
issued the following law: 
No. () for the year 2019 
Law 
amendment Act to amend the fines contained Penal Code No. 111 of 1969 , as amended and laws of other No. (6) of 2008 
Article 1 The text of Article (V) of the Act to amend the fines contained Penal Code No. 111 of 1969 , as amended and laws The other No. (6) for the year 2008 and replaced by the following:
Article (5) The provisions of Article (2) of this Law shall apply to the fines stipulated in the other relevant laws unless there is a provision for a higher fine. 
Article 2 This law shall be implemented from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. The 
reasons 
for the amendment of the fines stipulated in the Penal Code No. (111) for the year 1969 under Law No. 6 of 2008 and for the purpose of including this amendment to fines provided for in other laws and for the purpose of Remove this disparity by increasing the amounts of fines contained therein. 
This law was enacted

BAGHDAD - Mawazine News 
The House of Representatives on Monday voted on the Penal Code contained in the Penal Code. 
A parliamentary source told Mawazine News that "the House of Representatives voted during its meeting today, on the law of fines contained in the Penal Code No. (111) for the year 1969 and other special laws No. (6) for the year 2008." 
The parliament held its 19th session today, chaired by its president, Mohamed Halboussi
