    Iraq has objected to the final communiqué of the Arab summit on Thursday in Mecca, which condemned Iran's "interference" in the affairs of other countries. 
    "Iraq opposes the final communiqué issued by the emergency Arab summit in Mecca, which condemned Iran's intervention in the affairs of other countries," Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said in a statement broadcast live. 
    Aboul Gheit added that the Iraqi statement in this regard was contained in it. "While Iraq reiterates its denunciation of any action that would target the security of the Kingdom and the security of our brothers in the Gulf, I would like to clarify that we did not participate in the drafting of the final statement.
