Parliamentary Security Council calls for investigation of Kirkuk bombings and warns of attacks in other provinces
A member of the parliamentary security and defense committee, Adnan al-Asadi, the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, called for an urgent investigation into the 6 bombings in Kirkuk on Thursday night.
Al-Asadi said in a statement that "successive bombings in the center of Kirkuk, warns of possible security risks, both in terms of security of Kirkuk or the security of other provinces, including the capital in the event of not taking deterrent measures, including proactive operations targeting hotbeds and hubs in the city and hold accountable those responsible for the state of lax security there "He said.
