BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
Al-Nasr alliance leader Haider al-Abadi on Saturday reiterated his commitment not to run for any leading position in the party at the next conference.
"We need new blood, not only in the Dawa party, but in all our parties, and we need real reform," he said. "The Dawa Party is a process of sacrifice and martyrs. We have to preserve and protect this march and it should not turn into another march. Where competition for sites and competition for concessions. "
He added that "we must develop the political work in the country to serve the citizen, and unfortunately we note negative cases that the politician is looking for privileges and this is not of this political action of the work of corruption, which does not fit the country."
