ExxonMobil unveils its employees from Basra

BAGHDAD
(Reuters) - Exxon Mobil (MSX.DU: Quote, Profile, Research) withdrew its employees from Basra after a missile hit two Iraqi workers, the Reuters news agency reported on Tuesday.
"The missile hit the housing and operations headquarters in al-Bargesia, west of Basra," Reuters news agency reported in a statement.
Iraqi officials said that "oil operations in southern [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , including exports, were not affected by the rocket attack in Basra," and that other companies operating on the site Royal Dutch Shell and Eni Italian, while a security source said that Exxon is preparing to evacuate about 20 of its foreign employees Immediately".
This is not the first time ExxonMobil has discovered its foreign workers. The company did the same thing last May from Iraq's West Qurna 1 oil field because of security threats. Ending / 25 z
