Parliament reduces salaries of special grades and members

Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi said that the salaries of special grades and members of the House of Representatives will be reduced, in addition to reducing the protection elements by half, stressing that no privileges are granted to any former or current deputy, whether cars or money.
This came during the twenty - sixth session of parliament , which was held under the chairmanship of Halbusi and the presence of 233 deputies.

The Council also discussed the provision of employment opportunities for citizens through reducing foreign employment and stopping the excesses of the Shiite Waqf on the property of the Sunni Waqf and instructing the Ministry of Electricity to exempt a Japanese company from the terms of contracts to complete its tasks in the development of the power plant in Samawah in Muthanna province.
